Alza 18 Newbie

I have some pills of Alza 18 that has the time release part cut off from the capsule. I was wanting to take them orally but am in need of a safe dosage amount for my first time and what to expect. Also I only been experiencing with adderall 20mg IR for a week but I know this is ritalin and is different. any help is appreciated.

They're methylphenidate, but not technically Ritalin, but Concerta. A different brand name with a different time-release mechanism.

18-36mg is a good place to start for somebody who is new to stimulants.

Adderall = mixture of dextroamphetamine salts and levoamphetamine salts
Ritalin/Concerta = methylphenidate

If what you have is conerta than good luck getting high. i am perscribed them so i just may be an expert on getting high off them. what i do is first take big strong sissor and cut them in half. take off the outside layer because thats quick release. grind that up into a powder the rest of the pill is like almost a paste so what you need to do is bust it like your busting a nug of weed by pinching with finger and thumb and cutting. once you have a nice thin heavy powder(no chunks) stick your finger in a glass of water and stick your finger up your nose. this gets the inside of your nose wet. if you dont do this the concerta will stick to the inside of your nose and will be gross and unpleasant. get the medicine as far back in your nose. the reaction is almost instant. 45-120 seconds you should be feeling it. if you decide to pop more than 500Mg have fun staying awake for 20+ hours and feeling like your withdrawling off prozac. hopefully this leads a bit of insight on concerta
