So there's an idea going around that wrapping LSD in tinfoil for storage is bad for the stability of the LSD. I've read it mentioned several times around the web, but I haven't been able to find any valid sources, or any proper explanations of what the supposed reaction should be. I don't believe it myself, but I want to be sure.

So, just to end this once and for all, is aluminium (tin)foil bad for LSD?

I'm guessing it would protect the LSD from light which would stop it from reacting. So if anything it would be better than just storing it otherwise.

tinfoil is covered in a protective oxide layer that prevents contact with any reactive aluminum, so i'd say the claim is dubious

most lsd is adsorbed in the centre of the blotter and won't contact the tinfoil anyway.
