Misc Alternative/Creative Uses for Hookah Charcoals

I was cleaning out one of my hodgepodge stashes and came across a bunch of circular charcoals from a lineage of hookahs that are no longer with us (R.I.P.).

Most are still nicely packaged and intact, so I'd love to do something with them that is useful...or at the very least, amusing. Back in the day we rarely used shisha anyway, so building a ghetto hookah to accommodate the spare goods isn't something we're interested. However, something cheap that could be whipped up to maximize the effects of (fill in the blank) would be pretty neato if charcoal was the main ingredient.

Sorry if this forum doesn't seem like the appropriate spot for this question, but I didn't want to rule anything out. Technically I don't see why any responses should be limited to drug-related uses, especially since there are so many out-of-the-box thinkers who probably could come up will a million uses that your average hookah puffer would never think of.

I thought I made that obvious...We smoked hookahs back in high school when everyone thought they were a badass and hyped about hookah bars to justify the fact that we weren't old enough to get into real bars back then.

Basically, I'm agreeing with your reply in my OP, so either I'm a time traveler or you're missing the point. But I will say that a four-way hookah plus an eighth (moderate size pack for a hookah bowl) can do things that cannot be done with a bong.

Now let's please stay on topic here

Are they any use for incense burning? Not stick incense, but other sorts, like crystallised sort ?
 
@420dankshrooms: Thanks for your opinion and thanks for agreeing to disagree. Do you have a suggestion for the extra coals? Like I said, using them in a hookah is the LAST thing I want to do, and I'm all set with the bong situation, so it would be helpful to hear some fun ideas for the coals.

Just because we don't agree on everything doesn't mean I don't value your thoughts on the subject at hand. Of course it's the internet so you'll have to take my word on this, but I'm not being sarcastic and I mean that in a sincere way. No hard feelings, man.

@Bunnymunro: All I have besides stick incense is cone incense, and once you get those started a running ignition source is pretty much unnecessary. Haven't heard about the crystallized variety but I'm looking to get rid of my incense anyway since I already have a shit-ton and rarely ever felt compelled to use it. But I appreciate the feedback, keep 'em coming
 
I've seen a short videoed prank where a coal was passed off as food, wait, actually it was put in a food, and when it was bit into the prankee was left with an awful taste and texture in their mouth. Not saying you should do that because i don't think it's too safe to swallow which could easily happen and it's horribly mean, but if you do definitely record it, hahah.. What else...
