I was at my grandma's place today and she handed my mom a hell of a lot of Alprazolam. There 2mg pills...
Anyway, I searched up to see what they are and I found that:
DESCRIPTION
Xanax tablets contain alprazolam which is a triazolo analog of the 1, 4 benzodiazepine class of central nervous system-active compounds.
The chemical name of alprazolam is 8-Chloro-1-methyl-6-phenyl-4H-s-triazolo [4,3-a][1,4] benzodiazepine.
Alprazolam is a white crystalline powder, which is soluble in methanol or ethanol but which has no appreciable solubility in water at physiological pH.
Each Xanax tablet, for oral administration, contains 0.25, 0.5, 1 or 2 mg of alprazolam.
Inactive Ingredients: Cellulose, corn starch, docusate sodium, lactose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, and sodium benzoate. In addition, the 0.5 mg tablet contains FD&C yellow no. 6 and the 1 mg tablet contains FD&C blue no. 2.

Now, I dont quite understand what this pill is for. My mother doesnt need em, she just has em for god knows what. Someone mind explaining to me what theyre for?

Xanax is in the class of drugs known as Benzodiazapines. Seems like you've done your homework, and such so you should already know that.
Xanax is in the same drug class as Valium, though Valium is a long-acting Benzo. Xanax on the other hand is a short..very short acting benzo. All in All. Xanax is IMO the best benzo to get fucked up on. And your mom (I hate to break this to you) is probably planning on abusing these drugs.
My advice to you, snag a couple when your mom isn't looking, and take them. If you like the feeling it gives you, then snag em' all.

just eat one the 2mg are good , you might need two but i doubt it, easy on the alchohol.
 
It's unwise to start at 2mgs. That's a hefty dose for someone who hasn't used benzos before.
More realistically, try eating about 1/4th of that, .5mgs and see what it's like so you get a feel for it. That is not something you can learn from reading about a drug.
I haven't really abused benzos for years. Not really my thing. I got a bottle (yes, legitimately prescribed by a doctor in the United States for panic attacks!) of the .5mgs on the 4th of this month. The first two days, they hit me really good.
Another argument for starting low is that not even using these daily it already takes me 2mgs to get anywhere. They're like the crack of benzodiazepines. Short high, rapid tolerance.
At any rate, I'm just giving up on using Xanax for now and I'm intending on going back on heroin while I have over a week off from surgery. Then I'll use the rest of my script to get off heroin and hopefully after that much time and with the time off work to relax I'll have some things straightened out or whatever.
 
Xanax bites...at low doses it just relaxes you a little and you don't notice it. Anything higher I find depressing.
My money is on klonopin...it even makes me feel euphoric.
 
Alprazolam is great if you're anxious or panicky or having trouble sleeping (although you're really not supposed to use them to sleep).
They make me tired and lovey, but that's exactly what I want them to do, because I take them for panic attacks.
I only take them in 1mg doses though.

sorry, couldn't resist. xanax is the shortest-acting of all the benzos (means it's pretty weak and out of your system fast). ativan (lorazepam) and klonopin (clonazepam) are in the middle, and valium (diazepam) is the strongest and longest acting.

wtf is alprazolamum ? is it the same as alprazolam which is a part of xanax ? ..worth anything ?? its 0.25 thingy

alprazolamum is the same as alprazolam (Xanax), it's just the spanish (I think) version of it.
 
I also found some Pepcid crap... On one said it says pepcid and on the other MSD 963... Wtf is that for? Heartburn? My moms got a load of that stuff.

Lemme try to help this thread out a little.
2mg as a prescription is a heavy duty prescription and was probabaly for someone who really needed it -- like someone who has extreme panic attacks, and I mean extreme.
If someone who had no condition for that medication was to take for the first time, i'm willing to bet that you would sleep for a while. The first time I took a 2mg bar, I slept for 20 hours straight. Xanax isn't made to make you sleep, it is made to relax you. I have seen people *build* a tolerance but starting out that heavy would be enough to drop a dinosaur.

I don't mean to make a joke of your situation, but are you playing "find a pill and eat it". Yeah, pepcid is sold in most drug sections right over the counter for heartburn. If your intention of eating the pill is to help with heartburn, then I guess "eat your heart out". That is a 20mg pill of pepcid to be exact. No recreational use whatsoever.
Have you tried drinking from the unflushed toliet bowl yet, I hear it gives quite the rush.

Well this 'advice' might contradict what alot of people say but people I've met always say eat 2 bars(2mg) and start working on a 6pack of some light beer at the most for a first time. EXCEPT FOR FEMALE USERS common thought here is they should restrict themselves to 1mg on a first time if drinking to help prevent undesired sexual encounters :) . Be prepared to not remember your whole evening, it can be quite fun have sober people around to tell you all the crazy shit you did if going out somewhere. Snorting isnt really going to do much more for you than eating them (do a search for 'snort benzo'). If you want it to hit faster crush it and throw it in a drink (will give a slight bitter taste) or chew it up then swallow/hold under tongue. Hint: fun combo make jello shots and push a bar into each :)
Be careful on your first few adventures with these especially w/ the alcohol, a good rule would be to stay away from the liqour that can get you way past the fun stage. Also if you end up eating a more than around 2 and have access to an unlimited supply a trend I usually notice is people start forgetting they just took another one and eating more and more and more, if you eat enough of these you can be pretty gone for a few days afterwords and not remember whole days/weekends happening. You dont really need to worry about OD'ing ive seen people consume 30 in around 3 days with no tolerance. If you take way too many you will just passout for a while (day or so) or if you stay up you will get to the point of dragging your feet when walking and speech slurred to the point it becomes unintelligable. EDIT: Also most people at this stage i've seen dont know they are actually this gone.
Behavorial changes noticed: drug induced stealing, losing important objects such as phones/keys/wallets (get pants/a coat with ZIPPERED pockets), passing out in strange locations, etc.
All of this info was gained though observing experiences and isnt scientifically backed up data at all. Anyone else notice an urge to steal weird shit while influenced by xanax+alcohol?

^^^ YES!! benzos make me steal shit too. I am NOT a thief, I think stealing is a lame crime, but for some reason I get the urge, mmm I wonder if there's a scientific explanation for this phenominion.
I seem to be quite skilled at it, but only take dumb stuff, like last time I took a meat pie from a service station (Iwould never eat a meat pie). Alot of people I know have woken up the day after a benzo bender with a new bike, that seems to be a common one.
 
First, this is being closed BECAUSE you guys are all acting like little kids and calli9ng each other names .. Sonny, Trancedance, all you people are PATHETIC and should not even bother responding!
As for Xanax - we have too many threads dealing with this topic... for a newbie, say 1mg then go from there.. yeah, at higher doses you WILL forget everything and will do things youmight never otherwise do (sex with strangers and whatnot)..
