Alprazolam Dosage and Safety

Tried a search on this, didn't come up with anything useful.
Assuming I have no benzo tolerance, what would be a safe dosage of alprazolam if combined with a ton of alcohol and some weed? I'm 5'9", 150 lbs.

Dont take xanax if you have been drinking. do you wanna overdose? take the xanax instead of alcohol. not both. i would start off with .5mgs and see how you feel. you said you have no tolerence to benzos, so you'll feel it.

I started off with 1mg xanax and felt it alright. In no way did the high knock me over, but I felt it.
If you're consuming alcohol, I wouldn't go over .5mg for a first time xanax use. The first time I used xanax and alcohol I had no tolerance to either, took 3mg xanax and 4 or 5 shots, I can't even remember what happened, but my friends said my breathing and health seemed fine - but everyone is different.

Lots and lots of people combine alcohol and benzos without any ill effects. If you have never taken xanax before, you only want to take a little bit like .5mg when you drink, otherwise you will just black out and wake up the next day. Part of it has to do with your tolerance to alcohol too; there is some cross tolerance between tranquilizers and alcohol. People with a hefty tolerance to alcohol will have to take more xanax to feel like others who don't drink as much.
Still be careful mixing the two. I would suggest that you take whatever xanax you are going to take before you start drinking and then don't take anymore that night. This way you have some control over how drunk you get and can slow down the drinking if needed. Just don't do like my friend (ate 14mg xanax, drank like a fish all night, and has no memory of anything that happened the next 2-3 days)

I combined Xanax and alcohol last night. Bad idea, read my thread a couple from this morning to see what happened. I had injested 3mg Xanax to start with, waited 45 mins, didn't feel much, took another 1mg, then took one more after that. Then I started drinking 16oz pounders of Budweiser. After the fifth Bud + 5mg Xanax I was wrecked. I took my car out and caused some damage to it, but read my other post for the details. I woke up this morning with much of last night blanked out. Remembered leaving to go for some munchies, remember driving very poorly, I don't even remember what store I went to get my food, I probably made an ass of myself in there. It's a miracle I didn't kill someone or get arrested.

Ok, thanks. Just to let you know, when I say that I have no benzo tolerance it does not mean I haven't used them before. I just dont use them very often, maybe once every 3 months.

I've seen 4mgs and mucho alcohol. Hell, I thought everybody chased xanax with a few beers.
However, tolerance is different from individual to
individual.

just pop 2-3mg of xanax,you will be equally as fucked up and not be "dumb-founded".
but if you insist on drinking ,id say 1-1.5mg(if you havent USED IN A LONG WHILE) BEFORE you start drinking, i mean you ARENT GONNA DIE from taking a few mg and downin 12 beers,you will just french kiss a 80 year old womans ass hole and not think twice about it....so have fun!!

youd have to take a LOT more than 10mg of xanax with a bunch of beer to overdose. black out and fall asleep, yeah, but not overdose.
