Alpha GPC vs. Lecithin

So the does for lecithin is about twice that of alpha gpc and lecithin is cheaper than alpha gpc.
do they have any different effects? does one have a higher bio availability? are there any real reasons to choose one over the other? (sure lecithin is cheaper but its not like alpha gpc is expensive at all as it is)
 
I like liquid alpha GPC because it causes a small burst in growth hormone production. I'm not sure powder forms of either can do this, but alpha GPC is supposed to cross into the brain more efficiently. If you work out go for liquid alpha GPC. If all you want is some choline source to go with piracetam, stick with DMAE or lecithin. Or mix it up and get alpha GPC if you're feeling frisky.
 
Alpha GPC is amazing, and blows other choline sources out of the water as far as price and efficacy IMO.

To be honest, liquid a-GPC is just paying a huge premium for someone to compound your GPC into a fatty liquid so it absorbs quicker. You would be better off buying MCT oil and adding pure a-GPC powder to it for a superior and cheaper version of what's available on the market.
 
I think you missed the point about growth hormone. There are benefits to the liquid form. Also what I get (if anyone is interested PM me for name) is in a water-based solution, not some oil. :-?

I will restate that the liquid form is good primarily for weight lifters or person who partake in physically demanding events on a regular basis. I find it very helpful with recovery from intense workouts (I take it at night for this).
