Hi
How far have people gone investigating alpha-ethyl PEA and N-isopropyl PEA, not to include also 4-oh PEA and n,n dimethyl PEA. Have any of these things been investigated?

Please to to add some sort of educated guess as to why a particular compound might be desirable for posting next time.

Aephetamine is known and is highly selective for nor-adrenergic activity. Unlike eth-cathinone, it won't metabolize into a more dopaminergic intermediate. We shouldn't expect too much from n-isopropyl-pea, as not even n-propyl-amphetamine is that good.

Your final two attempts to borrow SAR logic from tryptamines won't work on the phenethylamine skeleton.

4-OH-PEA is also known as tyramine and is responsible for causing MAOI induced "cheese syndrome".

N-methyl and N,N-dimethyl-PEA are probably similar to PEA in terms of activity i.e. not worthwhile at all. Straight N-alkyl phenethylamines are not very interesting.

lol I see that tryptamine SAR logic in there lol but maybe he has something there... Maybe not N,N-dialkylphenethylamines but what about n-tert-Butyl-phenethylamine, i'm not sure if it's been made or even worth while or if it would protect the phenethylamine in the way n-tert-butyl-tryptamine does as ntBT is active and potent according to Shulgin.

Why weren't any guesses at activity made in relation to corresponding 2C-x and DOx relatives? All I hear with respect to phenylisobutylamine is that it is not as dopaminergic as amphetamine and it is more active on norepinepherine. Couldn't there be something fun in there with some substitution? I know that increased heart-rate and the like is not preferred but it kills me that there are pretty much zero reports on AEPEA. I mean shit, some tweaker has to have considered the possibility of making something in the hopes of it being similar to meth (Methyl-AEPEA).

The only thing I see online really that sounds a bit promising is 4-CAB. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/4-chlorophenylisobutylamine

This would absolutely require tests to confirm that it's not a selective, potent neurotoxin prior to ingestion by any human.
