im going to a show tonight and was planning on having a few beers, then dosing, then taking molly.

how much alcohol before hand would make it dangerous with molly? i plan on having like 5-6 beers is this a bad idea?

Just don't drink a lot and you will be fine. A few beers is okay.

I try to keep a limit of 2 drinks or so if I'm going to take MDMA after. The last time that I drank more I ended up feeling sick on the come-up and couldn't really remember the majority of the roll.

I don't roll or take MDMA at all but my friends who have in the past would tell me how they'd enjoy drinking a beer or two before rolling at a rave/EDM event. They didn't get completely drunk or bombed.
