hey everyone -

I just wanted to post a thread about if anyone has any questions about anything benzodiazepine related I am more than happy to assist. I've been using them for over 20 years for anxiety and PTSD. I have tried numerous amounts of different varieties, FDA-approved and a few that are not. I also have a BSPS (Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science) so technically I'm all round good with any pharmaceuticals, but primarily benzodiazepines and opioids are my forte.

also, I can only tell you my experiences and what I know so any questions asked make sure you know I am just giving an opinion, not medical advise. I've helped with numerous harm reduction sites and chats on the internet from TripSit to Drug Forums and I've been on BL for awhile too. I took a long break from posting due to life and that's just what life is. I look forwarding to meeting some of the newer users on here and some of the old heads that I've spoken to prior.

yes I have experience, feel free to shoot me a message. I've succesfully tapered of xanax and valium probably 5 times in my life with no seizures. your friend must have tapered to prior to discontinuing.

like I said, I'm in the field of pharmaceuticals but all information I provide you have to understand I'm not a doctor, I just know pharmaceuticals BUT I can give you info that I used to successfully taper off.

yeah, that’s benzo 101. you can’t just stop taking them or you will have a tonic clonic seizure (previously called grandmal seizures) but depending on how many you’re taking daily, there’s a lot of factors, how much alprazolam are you using daily, or if not alprazolam but a research/designer it’s all factors needed to know,

If you want to shoot me a message and fill me in on what you’re taking and how much of it you are using.

Your friend can go back to the doctor or any doctor and explain the situation…….ethically, perhaps even legally? a doctor WOULD or should slowly taper off the patient with long acting Diazepam (Valium) 10mg, 5 then 2mg scored tablets where she would be taking 1mg of Diazepam in morning and night

……along with low dose comfort meds

Pregabalin (Lyrica) 150-300mg - one capsule in morning and prior to bed
Clonidine 0.1mg scored tablets - half tablet even effective before bed

Medical journal studies show Pregabalin 150-300mg X 1-3X daily (450mg max rec dose at once) successfully reduces benzodiazepine intake from study participants and is an effective treatment for Benzo cessation. It’s a very effective anxiolytic & anticonvulsant

Passion Flower & Lemon Balm tea (or tincture) 2 tea bags in one cup (half water only and properly stirred for several min etc) LE on balm is an amazing mood booster but it’s the Passion Flower which has a MOA the same as benzodiazepines

Passion Flower acts as a GABA-A agonist / PAM in the CNS just like Valium & Xanax …..I use 2 or even 3 tea bags per half cup and it a safe natural remedy….even safely added to comfort meds

Medical professionals shit the bed here….thats gross neglect and even dangerous for a benzodiazepine dependent patient under treatment. Depending on the duration of treatment 1-2 years + (is seriously gross & dangerous without a gradual taper) as benzodiazepines are recommended for 1-2 weeks or sporadically used which obviously doesn’t happen in 50-70% of the time approx

Ethanol (alcohol) has the same MOA as benzodiazepines too (GABA-A agonist / PAM) not reallly recommended but a glass of wine or a fruity cocktail with strong spirit 2-3 .oz gin or white rum in pineapple / orange juice would take the edge off

Valium is the gold standard with low dose gradual taper for even a month + …..even 5mg morning and night then 2mg then 1mg …….even 1mg diazepam + pregabalin 75mg would be given during end of taper …..some patients don’t feel a lot of discomfort if done properly

that is the sad reality in the United States, most ER docs or general practitioners will do a referral to a psych doctor or somewhere to detox first prior to treating you themselves because if they give you something to help prevent seizures you are supposed to be monitored for up to a week and since a doc or nurse wouldn’t be able to monitor your detox they would be basically be at risk of malpractice if you do have a seizure and get injured or hospitalized, it would fall back on them.

speaking of meds - you’d get either phenobarbital or keppra which are the main medications given to prevent TC seizures but you can’t abruptly stop taking either of those also.

if you have insurance it would cover a week in detox or even 30-day rehab, almost ALL insurances now cover substance abuse treatments.

if its their family doctor who had prescribed meds over a year let’s say….you are a benzodiazepine tolerant patient, their patient…..and wouldn’t they be responsible to slowly taper you off? That seem like more of a liability to me

Canada ah lol jez the USA consumes 70% of pharmaceutical products

What sick Fck would just cut an opioid or benzo tolerant patient off without a slow gradual safe taper ? That sound more of a liability to me….and cruel & unusual punishment lol.

At GITMO they should have just build them up on opioid + benzo daily cocktail for months to a year …..THEN cut all off ha ha they would be giving up intell like a MOFO just for their daily drink after 5 days of nothing

Too bad this lady couldn’t acquire Diclazepam (2-Chloro Diazepam) which is like the Methadone of benzodiazepines….a single 3mg dose had me comfortable for nearly 2 weeks due to extremely long hanlf life, 3 active metabolites and an accumulation of those metabolites……synthasized by same chemist who made Valium. It’s actually a better taper benzo than Valium easily …. 1,500mg lasted me like 3-5 years

Avizafone (Pro-Diazepam) is available in Canada which I administer IM injection 60-80mg (30-40mg of Valium) a water soluble pro drug with rapid onset and higher c-max I’m sure ur aware

Sometimes going around a doc is sadly the only way…..fuckers with their Rx pads

Now you got some poor Pharma tech looking down the muzzle of a .44 Magnum by some sweaty nut bar demanding said drugs ….or a discreet note with same intent ….all insured meds are, comply call cops after go home safe. Sure it happens as Im typing this

well it’s a silver lining situation - if the doc rx’d you them himself he can taper you without monitoring, I primarily meant if you were addicted and went to a doc to ask to be tapered without a medical history showing the information they would still recommend admitting you to a hospital for a detox.

it’s really sad the condition of the med field now. when I feel a prescription I have to scan my ID, the select amount I need (auto counter) then once it’s dispensed I have to scan my ID again to verify the number is correct and once in bottle with label and the bar code, it requires another scan which shows it was filled and ready for pick-up,

now here’s a sad scenario I’ve seen others run into is if the auto counter for some reason gives you less (which is rare but does happen if you don’t get the machine calibrated every six months) they basically will require a drug screen to verify you didn’t take anything and claimed a miscount.

that’s the pharmaceutical game for you. it’s a damn game and you’ve got to be extremely cautious because as long as you report it to the PharmD (pharmacist) when it happens they have the ability to open up and run the current amount of pills it has compared to how many it dispensed and if it has an extra or two then you’re fine, because the narcotic dispensers are in the back, all the bottles on shelves are non-narcotic, sometimes with the expecting cough medication because there isn’t a way to push in how many mL.

no i m sorry you misunderstood, thats the thing, my friend DIDNT taper, which is why even a year clean its still bad
that is prolonged benzodiazepine withdrawal, they must've been using a ton of some research chemical that just trashes your tolerance like clonazolam because newer ones like phenazolam do the same exact thing.

In Canada on Opioid Narcotic analgesic are in a safe…..on shelves are benzodiazepine and dopaminergic stimulants etc, Ritalin, Adderall, Xanax, Valium etc ….on shelves ….my Methadone 100 tablet bottle is in steel safe

I’m sure anyone would truly open it and comply with any demands…..these meds are inexpensive insured trash, human life is priceless……even a note and an obviously serious individual in withdrawal with intent to harm

Comply and call Police after, file report, insurance claim, etc

I know several pharmacists that were robbed and they told me their stories ….some in Toronto ON some in nicer calm areas, doesn’t matter

At compounding pharmacies where Methadone is dispensed they have 100 gram jars of pure Methadone API powder to mix with tan and fill that 10L dark glass bottle with precision dose devise on top …..I’m sure there is 3-4 jars of 100 gram Methadone pure powder in some of the busier locations……a jar a month they’ll use some places

Why do they have to make them look like candies lol, fckn beautiful colours, capsules, branded tablets, it’s like looking at porn lol

……in B.C. Canada at a safe supply location 300,000 tablets of Purdue Pharma Dilaudid 8mg tablets went “missing” no explanation the news paper said, no police……just that the location reported the loss to Health Canada and now 300,000 tablets of Dilaudid 8mg have entered the illicit market with 5X their worth …….a real news story ….how does this happen?

We have “Red Rockets” over here…..massive red HM Contin capsule 30mg of XR beads inside
Hydromorph-Contin 30mg XR & Dilaudid 8mg IR are highly desirable…..and generic Oxy 80’s 4 different brands without tamper crap, crush and its now IR 80 powder

In Canada lots of cool shit easily available online…..inside Canada only, no customs to clear, no issues

I do, but again, I can't provide medical advice but I can provide you with my own personal experiences. shoot me a message so I don't write a book on the best methods I used.
