ARGH for the last time, and this is directed at everyone who says "why mess with poppy seed tea" or "step up to codeine".
These "unwashed" seeds all us seedheads were talking about had what subjectively felt like at least 100mg of morphine per pound and sometimes twice that two years ago. The high was subjectively different then pods, much more stimulating and actually a little longer lasting. All it took to extract the opium residue was a bottle and some water, and the cost was about 2 USD a pound. It was actually easier to process then pods are and cheaper, not to mention the unique high.
Please we're not fools, and we're not placebo junkies.
P.S. Few months ago ran across a bag of old 2005 stock in a small deli, the minute I opened the bag I recognized by smell it was from the year 2005. It was far superior to recent potent seed, almost obscenely potent. So I know it was just not my lower tolerance in 05 and rosy memories.
So following the potency trend 2005-2006-2007-to now where there is none, could we safely say a harvesting method was realized to be a "problem" and corrected?
