this may seem odd but i could always piss when i was high on opiates just took a few seconds probably 20-30 seconds but when they added neurontin to the mix and the full body numbness drunken feeling i could piss for minutes probably longest it took was 10-15 minutes

If you are unable to pee, DO NOT TRY TO DRINK ANYTHING TO 'FORCE' IT OUT!

It is extremely dangerous. If you are unable to pee, do not try drinking more liquid to try to force it out. This will simply compound the problem.

There are more than one horror story on this forum where people, unable to pee, decided to drink large amounts of water to force it out. Needless to say, these individuals ended up passing out, having to go to the ER, and even kidney failure.

When you are unable to pee, drinking more water won't make you pee. It will simply make the problem worse. You can't force it out. If you can't pee, that's all there is to it you just can't pee. By trying to force it out you simply are fucking up your body as now you can't pee but your body needs to.

I've got a different urine problem on uppers. I can pee, but after I'm finished and I feel that I don't have anything left to squirt, I have to wait a few seconds, relax and then expect another 2 or 3 jets to come out unsuspectingly 8) . Otherwise, if I leave right after I feel that I'm finished, I get wet :D . Anyone else experiences this?

Yeah i know what you mean, i think it's because its hard to relax the muscles. I usually have to push more than usual and it comes out in a much slower stream. When i stop i relax a bit more and more comes out, repeat this a few times or lots if i'm particularly tense. And yeah it is a lot easier if you sit down.

Had a similar but different thing a long time ago when i stupidly drank a 2 litre bottle of coke in about 10 min, for the caffiene (yeah i was young and dumb!) Ended up sat on the toilet for about 30 min because when i finished and waited a second there'd be another lot ready to come out! Never again, caffeine sucks anyway!

Sitting down to piss may also help.

It's a pain in the ass with opiates, especially if you're drinking alcohol which is a diuretic.

I second this! I've found that sitting down does wonders when you can't go standing up. Sometimes you might have to sit there for a few minutes but it really, really helps.

worst opiate side effect for me.
i sometimes even cant pee when i sit down or it takes like 15 minutes.

If you are unable to pee, do not try drinking more liquid to try to force it out.
yep. this wont help at all and makes it even worse.

I'm an opiate user and sometimes I find it very difficult to piss. I found that staring at the toilet and imagine the toilet turning into something you could piss on. My favorite is to think of it turining into something innocent or something like when in that movie The Water Boy the Fonz imagines his rivals coach turining into a innocent puppy face. That makes it come on out. Not that Id ever piss on a dog but it works.

"Phantom Piss" Ben Affleck was the bomb in that movie!
'snoogins'
one time I had to piss so bad and I turned onn the water full blast and even gave up standing to sit down and finally got it out after practically the whole house inquired about my water use in the bathroom. there was a draught last year when it happened.

I'm an Opiote user also,
and sometimes find it hard to piss. I really hate it in the middle of the night I have to get up and go sit on the throne, and 10 min. later I'm done, get up and fall on my face cause my legs fell asleep:X
