Alcohol with benzos for anxiety?

if the benzos work by themselves I wouldn't add the alcohol, it'll just make your anxiety worse the next day.

I went through a period where I combined the two all the time but once I started to take my health more seriously I pretty much quit drinking aside from an occasional social drink, it's not worth it in the long run to combine the two in my opinion. Besides I think it's a shitty buzz, it just puts me to sleep, that was the only reason I used to combine them so much, I just wanted to knock myself out at the end of the day (very depressed period of my life).

The reason why most would do this I suppose is to bring out the best part of the alcohol.
The key is correct amounts.

iam so confused about alcohol and anxiety tho. on google it says alcohol makes anxiety worse, then some people are saying it releives anxiety, which is it? I know it wont releive it long term but does it releive it for the time that your drunk at least.
