Alcohol vs. Pills

Almost everybody drinks. So even if the chances of developing alcoholism, a liver disease or drinking, driving and killing someone are 1 in a million, that's a WHOLE lot of people with diseases killing each other in cars.
1 in 10 would be more accurate.

Point is people do use opiates like alcoholics drink alcohol & they do well in using their opiates & function.

That's a big part of the point I'm trying to make. A few opiates/benzos/etc will bring you down to the psychological level that's desired without having to wreak havoc on your liver, pancreas, brain, digestive tract, etc...

....and yet alcohol is somehow considered universally acceptable and permissible within our society. Alcohol is nasty shit. I'm willing to go out on a limb and claim that the average opiate user is less of a threat to others than the average alcoholic.

All true.

A lot more sooth, and less of a response curve....

I rather opiates over alcohol in EVERY way!

I don't get baligerant and I am completely functionable on opiates

If I know I will have a long day at work (I was working 18hrs a day every wednesday durin the summer) I can take a small dose and be more productive and make the day pass faster. Can't do that with alcohol because it messes up your motor skills.

I only use on the weekends now that I'm back in college so it is ALOT cheaper than drinking.

Opiates make me "feel good" they dont "fuck me up" like alcohol.

A lot of poeple ask why I take lortabs or oxy instead of drinking and they don't believe me when I mention the points above, so I tell them to NOT drink one time when thye go out and look how foolish all the poeple who are drunk look. I can take a few LTs or Oxy, feel good, dance, talk with girls, etc without spending 200 dollars at the bar and looking stupid.
