I've almost given up alcohol completely; leftwing, belarki and lostnfound recently caught me on a rare weekend when I drank and I probably drank way more then I normally do. Not that I can actually remember how much I drank. :)

Will have to try this next time i do a C.W.E. Does anybody know when the ideal time would be to take a cetirizine (anti histamine). Normally I wait till I first start feeling the itches..... Once I left my ankle all bloody from over-scratching :(
 
^i'd take it as you dose, or just before your dose as it can take up to an hour for it to reach it's peak plasma levels. zyrtec is a second generation anti-histamine which only slightly crosses the BBB (blood-brain-barrier) with little, if any, drowsiness associated with the first generation anti-histamines.

^ You should feel guilty, since you've left I've had to give up all my 20 year AA chips and start from scratch again. ;)

Regarding Zyrtec/cetirizne; it's a second generation antihistamine so is unlikely to cause sedation though in a small minority of people it has been known to cause this side-effect. These people often find that they don't get this side-effect with other second-generation anti-histamines though.
