Alcohol alcohol smell question??

i found a corked bottle of something in a hotel room i was cleaning. i kept it and opened it to fimd out it smelled like coffe with a slight/mild smell of strong alcohol. is this bootlegged booze or even alcohol at all?

It could be a coffee liquor but I would not drink it. You should not ingest things you find in a hotel room. If it was an unopened bottle of alcohol sure but dont drink unidentified things you find in draws.
