Alcohol & Clonazepam

I was wondering how does alcohol enhance clonazepam on GABA A receptors I know there is several allosteric binding sites which clonazepam and alcohol both bind to but how does it go from there?

This is a "half-answer" ... but this is from personal research and actual knowledge. (Have been taking Klonopin for over a year)

My psychologist said that ingesting 1mg Clonazepam (Klonopin) is like a full glass of 12% alcohol Wine.
Alcohol + Clonazepam intensifies the effects of the drug very much.

Not recommended. It will make you do really stupid shit, because they both reduce inhibition.
