LSD has probably had one of the greatest impacts on society in recent history. it has affected everyones lives in some way, shape, or form whether through art, music, science, or medicine. I am damn sure that no matter what, Hoffman will never truly die.

Wow...First, we learn that another pharmacologist, Alexander Shulgin is undergoing surgery and now this....its just too much for the psychedelic community these days, we mourn in the memory of this wonderful man who contributed so much to the advancement of psychoactive researching. May your soul rest in peace my friend...for we shall always remember you for the great things you have done in this world.

I saw this yesterday on bbcnews, and it felt like a stone dropped in my stomach

I am so saddened by this, but it was his time and he was a great man. I hope that his work and vision can continue and we can make progress in this world

Rest in peace friend.

This is sad, but i'm sure he's in a better place now.

The best thing I can say is when your looking into a mirror what side are you really on? Mushrooms and acid let you see the world and life for what it really is. I couldn't agree more with this stuff. Some things will never make sense to me but if we can group up together maybe we can make an impact.

Look at the world today everyone knows abou LSD. It started from him then spread to a bunch of hippies that turned on other friends until the whole community knew. SUNSHINE!@#$%

Interesting to see that In Australia i'v seen no media coverage on this @ all

Hmm...

His Wife died in October? or was it December?

Couples go in pairs...once 1 goes the other sees no reason to stick around.

When I think back on my life. All the profound moments i have had...

Mr. Hoffman? Or should I say

Sir Hoffman, Helped me be born of the Spirit.

I remember that night in Ohio.. 20 years ago...

Cheech and chong movie and "don't look into mirrors" :)

I remember 01.01.01 @ 12.45am FLORIDA KEYS KEY WEST. (one of the sickest party vibes EVER..sick, sick..sick New YEARS )and some "kids" who wanted to get in a club and had some gels. (one frame from the night... the sky exploded into a techicolor dawn, at first streaking like that seen from 2001 a space odessey.

He made it "A wonderful Life" for me.

I well up with sentiment and I digress...

Thank You Mr. Hoffman.

You taught the world how to "fish"

Bless you and your clan..may you pass seamlessly, from this world into the next for you are indeed Ghod's child.

Thank you for the SOUL laughter and the insight..

(and the otherworldly sex (!)) <there ain't no sex like acid sex...baby making sex...>

(clearing throat)

Never happened upon a 60's type gargantuan 300 plus mic dose.

What I came across 80's 90's 50-125 mic
blew my mind just as well.

Wow, I'm eulagizing one of my psychic heros.

A psychedelic MOSES...

ON A BIKE.

God's Speed.

exiting the room humming "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"

ps... the Baddest Chemist EvA... the acid synth is like juggling elephants while on a pogo stick blindfolded with a full bladder...
For two weeks in the dark.

difficult to say the least.

*sigh*
Damn. and to think...That night, looking for "cid"...found rolls instead... 92'

If all we are are our memories..and if these are indeed are only riches...
then Mr. Hoffman made me a millionaire.

Good bye kind sir, fair they well.

Thank you Dr. Hofmann for synthesizing the magical molecule that is LSD. Humanity is infinitely better off now. Out of the most violent century of human history came a sliver of light due to the efforts of Albert. You will not be forgotten..

There goes my hero!

I bet that man was a trip!

May he roam a beautiful place of color splashes and visuals.

Where I hope to find myself soon enough.

Trippinng soon,
