Great article. This is yet another confirmation in my mind that the Economist is the most stellar journalistic publication in the world today. I love them for precisely this style of writing: practical, objective, informative, intelligent. I am a frequent reader, and anyone with an active interested in global politics and international affairs should be too (as this is their primary focus, but they do covers other subjects in their various sections).
They are a weekly, and in their weekly obituary section whenever Albert Hoffman died last year he was chosen. There is only ever one person chosen for the obituary section that has died that week - typically the biggest mover-and-shaker who has passed that week (the likes of Benazir Bhutto, Ronald Reagan, etc.), and who was chosen? Albert, someone whose invention has impacted the course of the world profoundly over the past 50 years. Clearly the Economist in their wisdom recognized this fact
how good was that artical, and how interesting would our world be if drugs like ecstacy and weed were legal, you could just go the the chemist and buy it....
Interesting article. Hopefully the government will come to its senses soon and make this widely available for people suffering from PTSD. They put the soldiers into these situations, it's about damn time they helped them get out of it.
