agmatine and opiate tolerance

i read a report and an article on agmatine helping prevent tolerance to chronic morphine in laboratory rodents. also it might help in relapse https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12852826

any personal experience with agmatine and opiates so i can draw conclusion from that please?

Agmatine seems like it has a very very short half life in vivo and poor BA (it's a polyamine degradation product of amino acids...) and I'd imagine studies are in rats, ICV injection and not P.O> administration of agmatine. Probably meaningless in human studies for the moment.
