Hey, I've been a bluelight lurker for close to a year now. I recently changed my email address, and decided to change my username to something that wouldn't easily connect anyone to myself.

i'm from ny, and a graduate student...and very glad to finally pop my bluelight cherry! Posting on these forums seemed a little intimidating at first, due to the wealth of knowledge most members seem to possess...it took a long time, but i'm finally ready %)

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome!

Cosmic Charlie, I smoke pot daily (I'm only 22, have been for about 5 and a half years already =/ attempts to stop haven't worked well, or barely at all) and drink alcohol occasionally, but have tried several other things (most just a handful of times, like coke, mushrooms, k, and a few more.)

I'm a graduate student though, and I'm a big fan of researching just about anything and everything --- this forum is made up of many people from all ages around the world (I study linguistics =P) who know stuff about so many different things, and it's definitely worth learning from.
 
Thanks ladyinthesky! I definitely have, it's the forum where I can definitely offer the most, and through making intelligent posts about stuff I'm knowledgeable on, move my way up to bluelighter status =P
