I've been IV'n heroin for about 2 years, only stopping while in treatment or away from home with no significant sobriety, and lately my dope guys have been having uppers, a coulple having coc and one having meth, and I've mixing them with dope has now almost made "dope=D" into "justdope:|". I know this shit kills your veins like crazy cuz in my first experiences speed-balling I lost a few of my old good ass spots, and my friend who was shooting in his nec,k daily without fail at that time, after doing 2 shots of dope mixed with coc the vein hasn't worked since, and if coc does that don't even wanna think what the tweak does. But ya now right after I have found some good spots they are gone again, and there arevalot of places where I see and feel these nice ass veins but have been having trouble hitting shit at all, dunno if I lost my touch at hitting veins on forearms because I have only been hitting my hands for months, or if these veins I am seeing are just not registering for some reason...can I be in and it not register? And ya since I started shooting this shit in my hand I've been having trouble so atempting some weird spots and like far up on fingers, palm, and knuckles, and ya my hand will cramp up really bad where i can;t move it at all and hurts where i poked on my finger, and this happens on both hands. Is this just a normal junkie problem like fucked up nerves or could something worse be going on? I'm planning on hitting detox here within the month, another bday in treatmen hooorayy, but ya wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen or know what might be happenin

Whenever I'd shoot into my hands they'd be really sore after and cramp up and feel bad.

Once I shot up into my hand and missed and my hand's pinky and ring finger felt paralyzed for about a week so I assume I hit a nerve. But it came back completely eventually.

So yeah, it's normal for your hands to cramp up and get sore, but it's not good. I'd recommend giving them a break and shooting somewhere else and letting your hands heal up. If you do any permanent damage to them you don't have any other hands...
