Affecting Me Very Hard

Alright, I made an account on here simply because I couldn't find an answer anywhere else. Apologies if it's in the wrong section, obviously I haven't ever used this forum before. To start it out I'm 17, and I've been smoking for about 2 years. I've a relatively low tolerance typically one or two cones and I'm right where I want which has been perfect for me over the last couple of years. Over this year I've been smoking at least a few times every day, no bad side effects so it's been fine so far. Lately in the last 2 weeks, it's been affecting me extremely heavy, having one cone and I've been unable to cope nearly greening out each time, I've always been able to prevent it each time with oj (lowers my high). I've been scared to smoke more than half a cone each time fearing to green out or have an uncontrollable high, as I've greened quite a few times when I first started and didn't enjoy it lol. I've tried different strains in the last couple of weeks each affecting me the same. I am on constant medication but none of which has affected me any differently. I do have a potential theory; my doctor gave me some new medication to help treat acne and it caused me to nearly pass out (affected my blood pressure), i wasn't able to stand or I would just fall, I returned to normal once it left my system in 7 hours or so, and I haven't taken it since my doctor took me off it and it was about a week before this started happening. I've forced to take a break because there's no point having half a cone and having to fear greening every time I smoke. I'm typically always very hydrated and I don't allow any smoke to stay in my lungs. Merely wondering if there's any particular reason why it seems to be affecting me so heavily lately and if there's anything I can do? I don't exactly want to stop because frankly I enjoy it.

That sounds really odd/uncommon. Did you by any chance start on a new bag of herb when this started happening? What is your bowl made of?

Well no, typically I've been going to the same bloke for years, and it's just a cheap glassy I picked up from the city last year. If it might make a difference, I have tried smoking out of a pipe instead while this happened but still the same.

What exactly do you mean by greening out? Are you sure you are not just having non-weed anxiety issues that are recent but made worse by weed.

Well, whenever I greened my whole body would go extremely numb, and i would feel very dizzy to the point where i would have to continue moving or I would lose feeling everywhere in my body, then eventually I would feel the need to puke and then I would just sleep and be fine when I woke in a few hours. I've never had anxiety before and I do not believe i do now. The whole time I've smoked I haven't had any issues regarding mental health. Just seems to be hitting me very hard for some reason now.

Sounds like some stronger weed coupled with the fact that you expect to feel super high now and are paranoid about smoking. The fact that OJ makes you feel better leads me to believe you're experiencing a heavy dose of placebo.

You may just be right, I'll find out tonight and I'll post how it goes tomorrow. Thanks for the opinion mate.

^just sounds like you finally got some good bud to me. If I smoke a whole bowl to myself i'll be unbelievably high.

It sounds really uncommon?

I even see this coming up on Bluelight for years with people having these kind of issues with weed rather often, "greening out", anxiety, and just generally feeling not so good after smoking marijuana.

Quite a common occurrence, even for some of those who have been smoking for quite awhile.

Well update I seem to be fine again, able to maintain a steady high after 2 or 3 hits. Must have been a one off, I'm assuming rest was just placebo. Cheers for the help nonetheless.

Didn't placebo, a lot of people tend to have similar effects when they smoke.

I think he was talking about the fact that OP was getting higher than usual with the same amount of weed

Sounds like you're experiencing a good high and smokin some good bud. Also think maybe you have some anxiety issues. Weed can make u anxious especially the first time u smoke in a given day. I've learned to embrace it and enjoy gettin that high. If it's doin that and you don't like it you should probably quit. It's not gonna kill u so keep smokin if u want.

Lol dude, you're just young and having a good time. Stop worrying out about nothing and chill. It's weed, basically the only drug that you don't really have to worry about, unless you're the odd one out with some hidden epileptic issues that weed somehow antagonized and brought to the surface - the only other factor I can legitimately think of would be psychological issues, which might explain the anxiety. But those issues are completely idiosyncratic and need the insight of a professional, not an amateur on a cyber forum who has no idea what makes YOU tick. We're talking about a substance which objectively is harmless for a healthy individual.

I find it worrying that he mentioned new blood pressure medication and feeling dizzy and loosing feeling in his body, then you all just discount it cause weed 'is safe'.

"Cannabis may increase the risk of bleeding. Caution is advised in patients with bleeding disorders or those taking drugs that may increase the risk of bleeding. Dosing adjustments may be necessary.

Cannabis may cause low blood pressure. Caution is advised in patients taking herbs or supplements that lower blood pressure.

You ought to check with your doctor really.

Not to be rude or anything, but I never once mentioned I take blood pressure medication. I see a dermatologist once a month (I have severe acne) and it was a new acne treatment which lowered my blood pressure. I was only on it for two days and only affected me whilst in my system. I've yet to experience any dizziness since. As for the feeling loss, I've 'greened' maybe 4 times ever since I started smoking, last one not being for a year or so and considering that's quite common as plenty of my mates have experienced the same thing from smoking too much. I get pretty regular blood tests, the last one being a month ago. My blood pressure, immune system and cholesterol were tested and all checked out fine. There is no longer any issue with smoking, highly doubt it was laced so please do not worry. Thanks.

Side note, my doctor and dermatologist both know of how regularly I smoke and have had discussions about it.
