Advice to someone buying meth for the first time

I usually help my friend with his purchases when I am visiting him but he is anxious to spread his wings and fly. What should he look for to make sure he doesn't get ripped off, very sick, or worse? Any advice I will pass on Thanks.

It's obvious he doesn't cop for anyone. Probably the other way around & he's looking for tips so he can cut out the middleman and start coppin' himself.

I usually never buy more than a g or 2 and he wants to get an ounce and that is more responsibility than I want. I thought I would ask the experts.
