Advice on taking acid for the first time.

I am planning on taking acid with a couple of friends sometime in the near future, I've been a light smoker (of marijuana) for about a year, and I've tried shrooms once. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice as I really haven't done a whole lot of stuff like this before. I'm not worried about being able to control the high, rather I'm wondering what I should do to insure that I have a good time and I'm not overwhelmed.

Make sure you have your set and setting prepared thoroughly, and assure you won't have to do anything important during or afterwards. Have fun and exciting activities to do, and make sure to enjoy nature during your trip.

Other than that, don't take a ridiculously high dosage (if it's your first time, you'll probably go with 1 hit), and make sure to enjoy the experience for what it's worth.
