Cocaine Advice on IV

So ive been iving coke and have been having the issue of being able to get the needle all the way in and being able to hit. Do i need to put more angle on when i put it in or what? Its hard to keep it in the vein without it pushed all thew ay to my skin because my hands shake (Ive had multiple thumb surgerys)
 
You mean not being able to hit?

If you have unsteady hands it's going to be a problem, I always went in on an angle and even with steady hands at first it was hard...
 
IV Coke isn't worth it, I would snort or take it orally.

I have had enough IV coke shots to know I just don't like it compared to IV opiates.

I'm not suggesting you IV anything else either. I just think you can still enjoy drugs w/o having to IV.

If you really really really want to try IVing, get a friend with a steady hand. I have steady hands but I don't even IV myself, I always have a friend to help out, it's the only way I don't miss 99.9% of the time.

PS, I always vomited from IV coke. If you're going to do it, be close to a toilet with the lid/seat up!!!

I actually am pretty good at iving its just that i have a issue now with my unsteady hands to get it lined up really good. I did heroine for like 4 years
 
I'm not really sure what the question is. You have unsteady hands, and despite you being on heroin IV for 4 years, you're unable to shoot up.

The solution is to find a way to stop your hand shaking, or find someone to shoot up for you. Given your experience, I don't think you're going to learn a lot about angles from anyone here.

I a sorry bu by the questions yu are asking, there is no way in hell you have ever i.v`d , let alone injected "for like, 4 years". Thats a giant load of bullshit. Not to be mean, but i hate it when people arnt honest. We cannot help you if you dont tell the truth. You are no more a past iv user than i am a pornstar......

You need to somehow manage to get that needle in at roughly a 45 degree angle. Make sure the bevel is upwards facing you, this is so when the needle is in, and you draw back, it doesnt just suck the vien wall into it and not give a register.

I have t agree with Captain heroin that you should just avoid iv use if you have a tremble. You said you had one surgery, which indicates on side, if you were tellin the truth, you would just switch and use the other arm.

Just please realise with the questions you are asking, it is blatantly obvious you have never injected before.[Thats a great thing by the way]

Its pretty hard though to master the art of injecting when one has a tremor.

No offense, but back in the days when Phreex was a mod here, you would gotten an enormous amount of shit for that reply, especially from being that you are a moderator. He did not ask for an opinion on how to ingest his drug of choice, he asked for IV advice.

Where is Phreex anyways?

He answered the question and with good intentions. Harm reduction was there, and he gave a great suggestion, you on the otherhand have added nothing to this thread....by looking at your posts, you never seem to add anything but needless remarks....

I'm a big fan of I.V coke, when I sniff it it feels to edgy for me.

Anyway, I've come across this problem many a times, usually the first shot for me is fine, but since I'm prone to doing shot after shot, eventually my hands do begin to shake. I would take a downer or something with it, maybe a xanax or an opiate. Even now on suboxone, I find that when shooting coke I'm a lot calmer.

I hope this was helpful, believe me, missing a shot of coke is a waste, and it really can do a number to your arms.

Far be it from me to tell someone not to shoot drugs... go shoot all the coke you want. I don't care.

The OP was asking for advice on IVing, and I gave him the advice, at least, get a friend to help you if your hands can't be steadied.

Harm reduction does not equal saying "keep trying until it works!". 8)
