A friend of mine is planning to do a home detox after slightly over a year of taking codeine (250mg twice a day) and pregabalin AKA Lyrica (150mg twice a day).
She is planning to stop both at once, and take a few days worth of subutex to get her through the worst of the withdrawals, and some valium for anxiety afterwards.
Does anyone have experience with detoxing either of these drugs, or experience of taking subutex to reduce withdrawals and ultimately stay sober? I'm concerned that if she starts taking subutex or valium she may well get hooked on those, as she first started taking those to get over a heroin problem.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
