Advice for a travelling Brit, surviving in Vegas!?

Circus Circus is fun but i don't even know if its still their. Haven't been back to check !! .
Maybe you would be be better off posting this in the Second opinion or somewhere Americans are gonna see it ?

According to folklore and the testimony of numerous employees, the casinos periodically pump oxygen into the gaming rooms through the airconditioning to keep gamblers from leaving because they're tired. No daylight is allowed to enter for similar reasons; inside the casino, only your watch can tell you whether it's 4 a.m and 4 p.m.

I haven't been there myself, but I recall reading a thing or two about the drug scene (if that is even what you are into). There's a lot of people looking to scam you there, much like any other big city. If you are looking for heroin, don't even bother. Coke and meth seem would seem like your best bet, but I wouldn't count on finding good quality stuff as a tourist.
 
Ya I mean we really can't be giving you tips on copping as there's no sourcing here but, you can find stuff pretty easily. You can also get ripped off pretty easily too. I like the fact that you can walk down the street drinking beer/booze as that's a no go where I'm from but, YMMV. Drugs or not Vegas is a fun fucking town and I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself regardless.
 
Yah man personally I would park myself and the nickel slots and get the free drinks. Just tip the waitress a a buck or 2 and tell her to keep em coming and you can get hammered for cheap. Much better than going to a bar or club where drinks are like 15 bucks and a beer is almost ten. if you do go to a club just pregame hardcore so your hammered b4 going in. Or go to a liquer store and get booze then just walk around drinking it. That is the coolest thing about vegas.. you can drink or smoke wherever. its just cool being able to smoke inside b/a in CA you cant do that so thats cool and you can drink in public.Shit when i was 16 i got a bum to buy me a couple 40's and i just walked around getting drunk on the strip. As far as drugs go. From what I have heard XTC, some shit coke and speed are available at certain clubs and stripclubs. But it is also very easy to get jacked or arrested so be very careful if u decide to try. but really if i was you.. I would just go out and get drink and try and fuck a hot ass chick. You will have a great time in vegas without drugs.. on just booze. but vegas does go great with drugs. But i think the amount of effort and the risk of getting busted would not be worth it.

really? i heard mediocre (at best) tar was fairly easy to come by from a friend who went a year or 2 ago

just reread your post, maybe you were saying the dope wasnt worth it, i was thinkin you were talking availability
 
^ Did they live there or were they just there on vacation? I was saying that I doubt it would be worth it to try to get some good H while there for only a few days. I know that there is dope in Vegas, but didn't think that it was easily obtainable by the average junkie tourist, and if it is obtained, I don't think it would be anything good, ie. not worth it.
 
i couldnt help but laugh when yall where talkin about the no windows and not knowing the time cause i know exactly whatr you mean..when ive comeout after sitting at a poker table and i saw it was 11 on my watch and was still suprised to see the sun..i knew it was 11am but it didnt register that it was morning and that i was at the poker table for over 10hours...i did walk out with like 400bucks in my pocket but i was pissed cause i was up to like 800 or 900 at one point after buying in at $150..i remember this cause i was goin strong and then for the last 2hours or so i was just gettin my ass handed to me and was basically giving the money away...this all happened after i got a text from my girl at the time asking me what i was doing and i said "im at the casino" and then she called and i didnt answer cause you cant at the table and then she called again and again, like 4-5times and then left me a voicemail and she basically flipped shit cause i dropped her off at home and told her i was goin home but really was goin up there to play cards..and she was all pissed cause i "didnt want to hang out with her" cause i was at the nino all night and i couldnt do anything but laugh cause i was so tired but it turned out she eventually called my mom and told her about me being at the casino for like 13hours straight or something like that and well after this happened i kept playing and basically went broke, well not broke but i gave away like 300$-400 the hour after i talked to her..she got me all pissed off and on tilt i went and i just lost focus and basicallyt gave away that money..so luckly im no fool and what i do is everytime i got more then one $100chip i put it in my pocket cause i figured even if i lost all the money on the table id only be down 50bucks and then it turned into i would be up 50bux and so on..and when i lost all the cash on the table and i left, i had 400$ still in my pocket..thats a good night but trust me i was pretty pissed that she caused me to go on tilt like that, and that i wasnt smart enough to walk away earlier when i started donkeying off chips

we split up shortly after that because of that reason...i was so pissed that she called my mom cause who does that? and my mom thought she was kind of crazy cause of that too..i was 21years old and im getting ratted out to my mom for staying up all night at the casino..she made it seem like we were married and i was out all night and didnt come home, didnt call and was prolly banging mad ho's and yeah that bitch had to go cause if she was that crazy over nothing, i didnt want to see what happenes when i really fuck up ...shes now married with a kid, go figure
