I went to the VA recently because I have lower and upper mid back pain, the doctor was a douche but I finally made him order some xrays. He said I just had some minor scoliosis to the left, but I dont understand I never had scoliosis before and he refuses to give me an MRI to look further.
I also have pain anywhere from 0- a strong 7 in the tail bone area and a red line from the top of my buttocks going down about 3 inches this is where the most pain is. I have looked into it being that cyst but ive never seen a sore or any drainage just a red line that never goes away.
The doctor has basically concluded that nothing is wrong with me, I already have painkillers from something else so I explained to him that im not seeking any opiates just help to understand the pain as I want off pain killers but it seems so stupid to taper off if they dont fix this issue.-
Any ideas about what the hell MAY or may not be wrong with me? As stated before I never had this supposed scoliosis before and im not convinced that is what it is but even if it is it fucking hurts and I think they need to determine why this scoliosis is happening since im 30 and never had it before.
