First things first, I want to thank Bluelight.org, the mods, and the laymen.

The progressive and humanitarian mission of harm-reduction and understanding is a underhyped beauty.

Not only do most people have experience with a variety of drugs, a large portion of people have generational trauma associated with drugs/medicine and the misuse of.

My mother kept me from doctors. She tried to prevent me from taking the path most traveled, her path. I listened until I was 18 years old and away at University. Without strict rules confiding me to the four walls of my bedroom, I allowed myself the freedom to have fun without regard to any of my previous structure(rules). I went out every.single.night. I was introduced to adderall by a family friend and finally understood the meaning of “balance.”

Although my upbringing gave me opportunity (I was provided an all-inclusive full ride to university), I was still an angsty teenager at my core. I ended up dropping out of University with only my associates degree to show for it.

Back at home, my mother allowed me one of her adderall per day. After a while, I decided it was time to pursue my own prescription. I received a diagnosis from my therapist, but the psychiatrist was afraid to prescribe me adderall.

Thankfully, I found a psychiatrist with coinciding values. He saw the struggle of an unmedicated, hermitted young mother and provided me an opportunity to pursue my potential.

LSS: Even if you have a personal history of addiction, these stigmatized medicines are valuable if used within personal appropriate means. Look.Into.It.

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

Anyways, Got Narcan?

Beautifully said KnowledgeGainer.

How long you been taking adderrall then? ☺️

Welcome to Bluelight! It’s great to hear that you were able to eventually get a script. It is quite odd that many psychiatrists are quick to prescribe amphetamines to children and reluctant to prescribe them to teenagers and adults when it really should be the other way around.
