^^ this. I don't know how long, how regular and how much benzos you are taking but it may be very dangerous to stop abruptly, and it will be very unhealthy anyways. Your brain needs to cope with the benzo discontinuation and while being in withdrawal for a longer time, you will experience less PAWS.

You have anxiety issues which you managed with the strongest anti-anxiety medication available, and when you stop you need to deal with those feelings. Expect to feel like tense and insecure, you won't be able to leave that out anyway.

Luckily I managed to take brakes from my benzo usage here and there, but I needed an inpatient detox and rehab to quit drugs. While benzos where hard to come off, opiates are my doc that still haunt me in my mind...

thats true and a very mild opiate is taking its hook on me and im helpless to stop it.i feel depressed and unmotivated all day ( not due to clinical but anxiety issues) its like hope,and i dont seem to want to stop..
