Im not prescribed add meds as im pretty certain i dont have ADD.
i still find that they help tremendously with college work so i use them once a month on average and have been using them for around a year.
Since last year i've been using dexedrine xr which "buddy X" would give to me. Unfortunately he feels that he doesnt need dex anymore so he cancelled his script .
....This means i now have to go to "buddy Y" who has a script for adderall xr and is my only other friend with a script for ADD.
Before actually trying adderall, i was really keen on trying it and i thought it would be nice to experience a change in ADD meds for my work.
However, since trying adderall several times i came to the conclusion and realized i like dex a LOT more...
Adderall does have its benefits though but the negatives outweigh the positives for me.
My fave benefit would be how it motivates you to do work a lot more than dex .
I also find i remember and learn stuff a lot better with adderall (apparently this is because of the levoamphetamine in adderal) .
However, adderall makes me feel like im constantly about to have a heart attack even after the mental effects of the drug have worn off (after 12 hours) and im trying to sleep (Even with higher doses dex XR i could sleep after 12 hours) . Even on low doses of adderall this happens and after doing some research i found out many people who arent prescribed it on a daily basis experience this.
I found out that these effects on the heart is because of the levoamphetamine in adderall and its long ass half life. grrrrr its very annoying .
So heres the question .. Do any bluelighters know if theres a way that you can remove the levoamp from the adderall XR spansules ?
Or is there a way you can minimize the amount of l-amp your body absorbs ?
Or is there a way to shorten the half life of just the l-amp ?
Basically i want to get rid of or at least reduce the l-amp's effects on me..
Anyone ?
Thanks
