Stimulants Adderall + Seroquel

I've gone on my fair share of adderall binges before, but I had never used seroquel on the comedown before-
A few weeks ago, I took 120mg adderall XR at 11:15am
Then I took another 30mg adderall XR at 12:30 in the afternoon

I was high and speedy all day, and once the euphoria was long gone and I still had a tingling in my limbs, I wanted to sleep
So at about maybe between 4 to 5am the next morning, I took a total of about 75mg Seroquel XR-
HOWEVER,
I had 50mg XR pills of seroquel, and I broke them in half to take only 25mg at a time- but that may have made them more instant release, instead of extended? I only cut them with scissors

After this, I managed to doze off slightly for an hour or two before I had to get up and start my day

Then, for the next 3-5 days, I had TERRIBLE, splitting headaches? I couldn't sleep easily because they hurt so bad, they made me feel like crying, it was as if my whole head overheated and I could feel my brain melting. These excruciating and terrifying headaches and sleep difficulties subsided within a week.

---My question is,
I read it was okay to take seroquel on an amphetamine comedown in order to achieve sleep. Why did I get such terrible after affects?

Amphetamines can cause headaches, I'm not sure if seroquel contributed to this or not.

well, no one can be completely sure about the cause of the headaches, but pertaining to your question about breaking the XRs in half? yeah, that definitely does mess up the extended release mechanism.

hmmm the headaches might be caused by the seroquel, as when i took it the next day i would get slight headaches.

your lack of sufficient sleep may have contributed to the severity of the headaches, as well as the amps.
