I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, and I take 10mg IR adderall daily. I take harm reduction supplements when I roll, and I would like to take the same type of supplements on the daily, but for adderall of course. Can anyone recommend me some vitamins to get?

Post away :)

L-tyrosine, but other than that, just eat regularly, whether you're hungry or not, and drink enough water, a gallon a day I'd say.. 10mg a day isn't much though, so you should feel fine later in the day, for the most part. A multivitamin with one of your meals wouldn't hurt.

Thanks for the reply man. I already have L-Tyrosine thanks to Renz, and eating on adderall isn't hard for me at all.

As mentioned, a multivitamin would probably be your best bet. However, consider the quality of your diet before running out and buying costly vitamins you may not actually need. And perhaps most importantly, stay hydrated.

Already got the diet under control :)
And yeah staying hydrated is very important, especially for your muscles. There has got to be a few minerals in the multivitamin though that I need so I'll continue taking mine.

What about something that helps with the dopamine receptors like 5HTP does to the serotonin receptors?

Sure, it couldn't hurt. Considering the dose you are taking, I personally am not sure you'd really need anything, but it's difficult to say one way or the other with any certainty. Do some trials and see what works.

For sure I'll do some trial and error. And I plan on taking adderall for a very long time, so might as well start the protection early :D

this sounds more like tolerance prevention rather than harm reduction, assumedly from potential neurotoxicity. if that's the case, magnesium with high bioavailability seems to be popular (and helps with sleep). dxm has also been frequently cited to control tolerance.

if you're truly talking about *harm* reduction, i've read somewhere that piracetam has neuro-protective properties.. but IME its effects in combination with adderall range from non-existent to subtle, ultimately i think its a bit subjective.

Well keeping my tolerance down would allow me to take less, and less adderall means less harmful effects. I already take magnesium on the daily, so I'm looking for some other options.

I think I would get a little too jittery if I added piracetam to the mix, but thanks for the suggestion. Its a wonderful chem :)

make sure you're getting the right magnesium, the chelsated one.
multivitamin is good too
l tyrosine isn't needed, but it boosts your dopamine

do you have a downer already for sleep and whatnot?

I have magnesium oxide at the moment because I'm having a hard time finding chelate at the stores I've been too. I'll be getting it next time I stock up though. And alright I'll probably keep taking it at night then.

Yeah I have melotonin but most of the time I don't have a problem falling asleep. Weed helps a lot too.
