I am a regular taker of IR Adderall, 3 to 4 days a week, 15 to 60 mg a day, depending on how difficult/fast paced my work day is. I take 15mg at a time. I used to get euphoria the first few times I have taken it, which used to kick in about 45 minutes to an hour after ingestion, and would last an hour or so, followed by couple more hours of motivation to work, increased communication skills and multitasking abilities. Lately, I usually feel the euphoria within 10 to 20 minutes, and it lasts for about 5 minutes and goes away.
It also comes back a little when I am having a mutually present conversation with someone. In addition, whenever I am going to the bathroom, while I am pooping or urinating, the euphoria returns, just during the excretion, and then goes away as soon as I am done. I wonder what it the mechanism behind that.
Best things that I have noticed that prevent or reduce my adderall comedowns are: Eating a meal 0 to 30 minutes before taking the Adderall, Keeping hydrated, especially non-acidic, non-carbonated drinks with electrolytes, taking multivitamin to start the day. If I do feel a bad comedown, it usually involves rigid muscles, racing heart, cold fingers and mild light-headedness. I then take .25mg of xanax and feel better 10 to 15 minutes later.
So, I hope this helps someone, but I also would like to know if someone can explain to me why going to the bathroom increases my adderall euphoria and if anyone else experiences this.
Thanks for your time reading this,
