For Adult ADHD prescription, what's the average dose for Adderall IR and Dexedrine IR?

Is 20 mg 3 times a day (60 mg/day total) Dexedrine IR an average or high dose for adult adhd?

thats a very generous amount.
i only get 40mg dexedrine a day, same with all the friends i know
