if one were to crush up the beads, that takes away the time release correct?
what exactly is the difference if the time release is broken?

Yes it will defeat the time release.

The difference is that you will get all of the drug at the same time, instead of it being spread out over a 12 hour period. This can be very, very dangerous if you are not familiar or experienced with amphetamines.
