I had been on some sort of adhd medication since late teens. Got a script from a family dr for vyvanse once, he’d write anything we asked…but I lost healthcare went on the state funded/behavioral health side of Medicade. Eventually lost adhd meds and fell into meth use.
I’ve been clean a while, didn’t use much-for long. Went out of state for treatment. I’m settled now, working etc. i wanna go back on my ADHD meds, but i feel like the dr i spoke to about it-just a NPR in the first place i googled, wasn’t at all open to me getting any of those meds. Not even Strattera. I didn’t think I seemed drug seeking I just said I have taken this, this and this for this etc and I’d like to go back on that. I have zero-0-focus. Inability to complete ANY tasks. Low dopamine. Low energy. Any help, helps I guess
My question is, do they have something that shows I went to treatment? Without me telling them and I honestly specifically said no previous drug usage. Anyways- I’m gunna see another doctor but any recommendations on what type of doctor and maybe a better way to approach getting my ADHD meds back?
Thanks
