Adderal Tollerance, I want my Euphoria back.

Over a month ago I was perscribed Adderal for my ADD (I really have ADD) I planned to use this both medicly and recreationaly. The first week of medical use 20mg a day, was probably the best week of my life, I felt like a million dollars everyday, and had no crash at all. But within 2 weeks all the euphoria associated with Amphetamine was gone, All I felt was a mild rush and I was more attentive. And this was even way before my first recreational dose. So then one day I go to a party and take 70mg, and I expected to have lots of energy and lots of euphoria. instead I got almost the same effects as 20mg. And no euphoria at all. Ive not been taking the Adderal for the past week, in hopes of lowering my tollerance, and getting back that Euhporic feeling I loved so much. But today before skool I took 50mg and felt the exact same thing I felt while taking 20mg medicly for 2 weeks, (mild rush, attentiveness, but no Euphoria what so ever)
Is it gone? if not what can I do to get it back so that when a Tweak recreationaly, it will actualy make me feel good.

One of my friends has the same problem. You just eventually loose that feelin i guess from building up your tolerance.

You can't use something like this both recreationally and medicinally. You have to decide if getting high every now and then is worth not being able to focus and get things done. Skipping doses and fucking around with the dose level is also going to do more harm than good I am told from friends who are MD's. You may want to ask about this in the medical FAQ.

If you just take a week off from adderall you will get most all of that euphoria back. I was taking 30mg bid and less than a week of not taking it got my tolerance back to baseline. But still you have to accept the fact that you cannot get a buzz from adderall every single day of the month with no breaks in between. You can keep upping the dose but the buzz you do get won't be enough to justify the 10 hour long, heart is about to explode comedown. Of course, you could take it as per the doctor's instructions, be able to pay attention, and not get addicted to it. Whatever suits you I guess.

A related, worrisome experience:
My "tolerance" to the euphoric effect of Adderall has gone up dramatically. When I first used it, 30mg had me insanely happy, almost like E. Now, it takes 60mg for a good experience, and that isn't close to the first one.
This is really odd because:

• this has been repeatedly tested after months of abstinence from stims
• the tolerance gain occurred after the first few times with the drug, which were all separated by a week minimum, not particularly high-dose, and before I'd used meth.

Sorry man, you lost it... with most any drug it would seem that if you stop using for a coupel weeks, you can get yourself back to base - with Adderall, as others said, you may have to wait months to even get only a hint of the euphoria back and only for a day or three.. the best advice came from Exx_head - YOU CAN'T USE IT MEDICALLY AND RECREATIONALLY .. you need to decide if you want to get high from it, or get your medical relief by following the dose.. remember, if you use on a regular basis you will have to deal with tollerance, which means even to get focused at school you would need some god awful dose ..
Well, you had fun while it lasted - now how bout you go back to the dose your doctor prescribed, stick with that for a month or four, then try taking some extra one day and see if you're flying high...
