ADD/ADHD and Drug Abuse

My drug use started because of the meds, i started railing them when i was 10,then booze then weed then mushrooms then speed then mdma and now ketamin, i"m now almost 17 have a deviated septum
And crave my meds, going to start dexedrine in a while.

I always did a ton of 10 ir's, 20,30 mr'S(dont snort them!) and concerta.
I am in boarding school and get all for free.
I really regret snorting tho.


Ps: booze + rits ftw, ethylphenidate, its very euphoric.

I responded to cap.heroin on the new peep.page answered a few of his questions and a few people directed me to this forum,rightly so.I was diagnosed 3 times in my life with a.d.d. 1st not medicated,second on Adderal ...3rdI forget the name ..it was a non narcotic anti depressant they were trying for ADD .Adder al was way to much for me ,I was like a tiger in a cage and don't piss me off!2nd drug I literally just sweated and trembled.I am starting my sooxone detox soon,and now that I think alot...what was it in regards to say the Vicodin that I loved so much.It did kick me into a gear I have never felt...I did my housework,took care of the kids..was finally still enough to read a ook or take interest in a conversation..I am a very polite person ,my sister tells me however when you loose interest in topic conversation you look so rude,however I don't see it til she points it out.Another of many exp...when we purchased our home family came to clean,paint,get rid of stuff etc.We had a plan we were to stick to who/where and what type of thing..it was an impossibility for me to stick to any of ot...people asking me all day whats wrong Tara I thought you were working with or working on etc.Vicodin did cure that,its just the devils game though.I hope when I detox this time I do not get the darkest of depressions again,I have amazing children and want to live like the other earthlings do and how do you tell family A.d.d. without them thinking your switching 1 drug for another?any one have similar stories

I won't use anything but the one dose / med / brand of it - otherwise forget all other ADD meds for me. This works for me, others make me feel like sht or high as a kite - it's a tough line as is. But I need to be able to function and my ability to find everything so boring to impose upon my ability to accomplish anything a 1/10th of my ability - that shit is gettin reallll old.

You are correct, snorting tablets or street drugs can lead to a deviated septum.

The best way to avoid this is to take pills orally, as well as creating a nasal spray solution for drugs instead of crushing and snorting as a powder.

Switch to taking your tablets orally if you can - and stay to this. Try to avoid snorting drugs in the future, and everything will work out for the best. You can go to an ear, nose, and throat doctor and they should be able to tell you more about taking care of your septum.

I know exactly what you mean - when I was on heroin, I also was into that gear you talk about when you can get everything accomplished and everything feels great!

When I quit using heroin, I got on Suboxone. This took care of the ORT, but not ADHD entirely. So I got diagnosed with ADHD, and I began medication recently.

Switching from one drug to another can be tricky - however, ADHD medicine is meant for treating ADHD. I have never had any issues with my ADHD medicine in the same way I have with heroin.

So, I hope that your family will support you fully getting on medicine. Adderall is a very abrasive medication, as it can make kind people very aggravated.

I am on Dexedrine and the difference is really clear and noticeable. I never get aggravated on Dexedrine in the same way I felt on Adderall.

There are many medications out there, so try one at a time, and take your time figuring out what works best for you.
