Hi, I'm new to bluelight. I see lots of prescription drugs with whatever-name hcl or citrate, or HBr, etc. I was wondering what the relative merits of salting a compound out with different acids is. Ones that come to mind are:
HX (halogen)
sulfates
phosphates
citrates

Its an interesting question. When drugs use something other than HCl, it'll usually be to do with solubility, or some form of physio-chemical stabilitiy (hydroscopic etc). < I MEANT HYGROSCOPIC.

I'd love to know which drugs you can use to look under water with ;)

Yours pedantically, L
