I have some very sage advice for the original poster:
Activated charcoal is an absolute godsend for doing extractions from plant matter. Take said product goo, dissolve it in a bit of distilled water (or alternatively, just evaporate less water,) and simmer with activated charcoal pellets (of the type that one would find in a pet store for use in fish tank filters - they come in pellets, which are more useful than powder as its easier to filter)
then filter, and if necessary, repeat the process. You may want to try this on a small amount of your product just to check that the activated characol doesnt absorb your mescaline, but if its in a salt form, not freebase, it should work fine.
I intend to try this on poppy seed extract sometime soon. I'll post the results
