do any of the reagents test for LSD?

I can't find anybody with blotters of LSD but several of my friends can get pills they claim to be LSD...my only problem with that is that will all the crap going around that ppl think is Ecstasy but really isn't, wouldn't it be exactly the same for LSD? Anybody could press anything into a pill and call it whatever....is there any way I can test for the presence of LSD?

I know this isn't really related to pill testing but since I already started this thread, I'll ask if any of the RC's could be mistaken for LSD when consumed...do those tend to have similar trips or is LSD distinct?
 
it's common to find pills with 2C-x in them, 2C-B being the most common. Your friends may have pills with 2C-B in them, and for someone who hasn't done LSD it would be easily confused.

It also uncommon for a regular ecstacy pill to contain LSD.. (in my area, anyway)
 
I'd be very wary of anyone claiming to have LSD pills. I have to agree with icerazor on this, sounds like your friends may have some 2Cx pills.

As far as reagents and LSD, according to the big list that phase_dancer passed along to me, LSD does not react to any of the common reagents. Never tried to test acid in this way myself. YMMV.
 
Thanks, that's what I figured. I know a few people who took some and just said it was "weak" acid. Probably have no idea what the hell they're talking about.

Maybe I should pick a few up either way to test and report on them just so we know what really is in there? I'll see if I can get one.
 
It may be an urban legend but I recall the use of UV light to detect LSD.

Actually I think I may heave read this in a microgram bulletin as well as through the unreliable druggie network.

I disagree with everyone about the 2c's in pills. I think it's just lowly piperazines to blame for all this talk.

Myself and others I know would be glad to buy 2cb at rates well above the "ecstasy" pill price.

If you're fucking with pills that people are tripping off of, there could be pretty much any psychedelic chemical in them. There's a pretty big list of what it could be, and even a marquis tester won't tell you for sure what it is. Depends on what you're eating the pill for. If I wanted to actually roll, I sure as hell wouldn't be eating pills people are tripping off of. If I wanted to trip I probably would though.
 
You don't spot for the real stuff. To answer the question about the blacklight it does work to find acid on blotter. I just read a thing on it on the dea website. In fact I found it on a link from some other post on this site. Acid is even easier than x to pass bunk off. Anyone can cut a square of paper off and call it blotter. They can put a small drop of anything on a sugar cube to discolor it and sell that. They can take a pill and make any claim they want to about it.

I remember back in the days buying microdots and being told they were mescaline. I believed it to be true because I didn't know any better. Hindsight being 20 20 I know now a tiny pill would not have been mescaline. But this thread isn't about mescaline. I just used that to make a point.

Unfortunately word of mouth is probably your best bet. If you have had friends who are experienced trippers and they say these pills are acid then there you go. If not then its a question of how bad do you wanna trip. If its bad enough, then roll the dice and give these pills a try. If not then pass on it.

^^^ Yes, my friend tried out the blacklight and if it's LSD, it will glow under a blacklight.
 
^LSD does glow under a blacklight, but then so do a lot of other things including paper.

Here is an awesome link but yes LSD on blotter, in microdot, or in Liquid form will glow under UV Blacklight...

That's why I recently bought a Blacklight keyring so I can field test for LSD easily.

And yes UV light does degrade the relatively unstable chemical LSD BUT it's not that quick so using a blacklight to field test your LSD won't degrade it enough to notice.
