Acid in New England?

This post is probably bordering on the rules. I'm not looking for a source, pricing or anything. BUT I have heard that acid is very prevalent in parts of the country, and then pretty much non-existent in others. I've lived in this area of the U.S. for quiet some time and have NEVER found the stuff or even a lead. I've had a friend or two who has supposedly found it, but they can't get it again. so does anyone else have trouble finding the stuff in Massachusetts?

I'm guessing this post should be allowed as its similar to a pill report... just trying to find out whats going around in my area.
