Ya me too, comes from different chemist than Luke Browns, SWIM recieved the option to buy either, however Alex Grey's are more potent but will cost a lot more. if anyone comes across some please post a pic or some information regarding dose/strength......
Luke browns are amazing.... i just got some fresh, probs gonna dose 2 tommorrow.

Has anyone encountered perforated purple alien heads (from what I understand each square is ¼ of one alien head). The hits are quite large. I have not yet tried them!

Over the past 3 months, I've been hearing about them, over and over again. Heard some very strange claims.
Finally got in the hands of some adept trippers I know. However I still have not gotten the chance to run chemical tests or try them, as I am currently out of Canada.

The report I got about them surprised me, because three of the most seasoned psychonauts I know seem to agree that the substance contained in these "Purple Aliens" is neither DO-x nor LSD.

The high is said to be
"...unlike any other psychotropic I've ever tried. Definitely not lsd, definitely not dob. I can only relate it to the Nexus (2c-b) in taste and a mix between an lsd and ketamine high. Visuals were quite rampant (the feeling of being on a psychedelic) but psychologically very dull. it kept phasing me in and out of reality and all colours were made 'cartoonish' and 'in layers'. Altogether a strange but not undesired high..."

A 2C-type phenethylamine is suspected. But this does not sound like anything I've tried (note that as far as variety in drugs tried, I am the most experienced psychonaut I know, greatly since I've travelled and tried psychedelics in quite a few different countries).

I will likely have some waiting for me upon my return. Will report findings, but any helpful information beforehand is appreciated!
 
I tested them with Ehrlich's reagent and it turned yellow so I just assumed it was DOx and not acid. I didn't try it. How long does it last? Possible Bromo Dragonfly?

Effects lasted 14-20 hrs. Subjects reported inability to sleep long after dose. Also reported residual after effects in the following two days.

I can definitely see how Bromo-dragonfly could be an effective new adulterant for LSD. With doses in the μg ranges, it could easily be put into LSD sized blotter! - which would be a first. As phenethylamines have always been put into larger, thicker perforated paper.

I have never experimented with (or even intensely researched) psychoactive benzodifurans. [honestly, who wants to check out something like this when you can check this out!].

There are two problems I see with the purple aliens being Bromo-Dragonfly. First being the size of the hits. I was told they were bigger than any DO-x hit of recent years, dragonfly wouldn't need to be dipped into squares this large.
The second problem is that, from what I can see, users do not report intense OEV's from Dragonfly, which is what was reported.

Will dig deeper and find out. Might be time for me to get some of this dragonfly stuff, which shouldn't be a problem at all =)
 
How many hits did the person take? 2c-x may be unlikely because of duration and maybe the person was taking other substances, but we'll never know until we get positive results from a test right?

I know bromo can be taken in safe doses but this story scared the hell outta me

I get it a lot on sidewalks, ceilings and my pants (I tend to wear jeans when I trip). Similar rows of repeating quadrilateral designs tend to involve native-american-looking (particularly Mayan, Inca) artwork. Especially frog patterns arranged in fours.

No idea about the onset. I'll be in Canada again in a few days, will find out then. Probably try it for myself =)

A few parts of that article stood out for me:
According to news reports and one journal article, one Danish man was hospitalized and another was killed by toxic effects of bromo-dragonfly in September, 2007. Pers Ståhl, 35, suffered convulsions, liver and kidney failure, and lost several fingers and toes, while his unnamed friend died within hours of taking the substance.
But this tends to happen on a lot of drugs, made me suspect that the people in question screwed up their dose quantity.

If they did in fact measure a bromo-dragonfly dose by licking a finger and putting it in a bag of powder, this could have produced a dose on the order of 5-10 mg, roughly ten to twenty times the minimum effective dose of bromo-dragonfly. This is probably larger than what most informed persons would intentionally take for a recreational dose, but not vastly larger.
Oh they did. Surprise surprise.

Over the next few days he developed acute liver failure and renal failure. His liver failure was short-lived, and his kidneys responded favorably to treatment over the next three weeks.
Ståhl was administered nitroglycerin infusions, calcium inhibitors, ACE inhibitors, and prostacyclin analogues to dilate blood vessels. None of these treatments had any visible effect.
On his ninth day in the hospital, gangrene was detected in one foot.
Seven weeks after his admittence, the fingers of Ståhl's left hand and several toes had to be amputated.
That was pretty shocking, I've heard of necrosis from a lot of drugs, but holy shit. Good thing I measure things out! =)

The problem with RC identification is that it can be really tricky. I would always distribute such drugs in a medium, such as paper, pills or at least capsules. Not that I'm involved in drug distribution in any way, of course =)

The only DO-x that I still suspect is DOC.. but not many low-ED50, long length, highly visual RC's out there- makes me wtf a little.

Depending on the way the material is powdered it could be well over 10mg that was dosed in this instance. If for instance it was closer to 20-50mg, this would be the expected response to the drug at that dose level as DOB appears to be similarly vasoconstrictively toxic around that level when adjusting for potency (DOB-dfly is about 2-3 times as potent as DOB).
 
theres major acid coke and e in TO/Hamilton area. the labs are extremely low profile for acid and arent regulated by the hells angels, with the bikers peddling and killing all other major players its hard to get a drug they dont regulate that isnt easily made (like K).

if you know where to get it sheets are easy to come by

I tried some double dipped alien head blotter at shambhala this past summer that was outta this world! Was fucked for at least 8 hours off one hit. With Edmonton being close to BC you would think there would be more around here.

This doesn't make too much sense to me. Major players, when it comes to LSD, Ketamine and Mushrooms are certainly not deeply intertwined with crime syndicates like the Hell's Angels - at least not anymore and certainly not in Toronto.

This is what I've been observing.
Keep your eyes open and watch mescaline flood this city, this summer.
 
Any word/tests on the perforated Aliens, Nuro??

Has anyone had any good acid out of Edmonton? I have only found it twice in the last couple years and it wasn't the best quality. I tried some double dipped alien head blotter at shambhala this past summer that was outta this world! Was fucked for at least 8 hours off one hit. With Edmonton being close to BC you would think there would be more around here.

T.D. there is some in Edmonton, just keep your eyes open and you might meet the right persons.... also were the alien heads you ate at sham green ones???
 
I am pretty sure the alien head blotter I had at Sham was purple. Though it can be hard to remember the fine details of the magical time that is Shambhala :)

But guess i will just have to ask around a bit more. Last time i found some was so random. I was out drinking to celebrate cinco de mayo (mexican holiday) and stopped by one of our city's fine head shops. While i was buying some salvia, i met this hippy looking guy who just moved here from bc. I had brought up the subject of acid somehow and low and behold this guy had a bunch on him and supposedly knew the chemist as well. So i bought some, my friend got his number and i carried on the night... dropping three hits and had a fantastic night. Though the quality wasn't the greatest, i was just happy to find some acid and a hook up for more. Unfortunately my friend last his phone with buddies number so that source vanished just like that. Hopefully cid will find his way to me once again.
