RCs Acetyl Fentanyl - Butry Fentanyl solubilities

Just bought another gram of each. Have tried 400mg of AF before and 50mg of BF.
They don't dissolve in water at all, and I believe I wasted a bunch by plugging it in freebase form. The AF is a tan powder, and BF snow white and fluffy.

I added vinegar to the AF which didn't dissolve before, but the water turned tan, like it salted into an acetate then became water soluble, and what I had was freebase.

I can't find solubility information, but if you have a tolerance, I doubt bf would do much.

According to wiki, it's binding affinity is 30x lower than Fent itself. That would make it about the same as hydrocodone...

Oh, and in general rectal administration of opioids isn't that effective to begin with.

Interesting that it was in the form of the freebase. If I remember correctly, these 2 fentanyl analogues were initially in an opium-like mixture so freebase makes sense.

I was doing the BF at like 15 mg the first time and I got shocks of euphoria throughout my body felt really nice. Oh, and I took 180mg of hydrocodone the other night and was just like 'meh.'

Opium like mixtures? Like Tincture? I guess not that would be liquid and need a salt.

So this proves pretty well it's a freebase, as it would just sit on the top of the water before? There would still be clumps left over, but it would be a bit more dissolved.

My question about solubility is because I believe I'm wasting it if plug it in water. I want to know if needs to be salted into an acetate or citrate or if it needs another solvent that it is soluble in for plugging.

Yeah, morphine's binding affinity is at least 5x higher than oxycodone's(some sources say closer to 10) yet when administered intravenously they are roughly equipotent. But I'm assuming it has low oral BA, though I've no idea how you are dosing.

My real concern is that this is a freebase, and whether I'm creating the acetate or not. The only really good way to know is if I had a strong acid like HCl, and could then see if it became COMPLETELY soluble in water, then neutralize excess HCl

Are you sure the rectal BA is even higher? With Fent itself, the oral and rectal are exactly the same(both around 30%); of course, that doesn't say much about bufent, but you could be going through a lot of trouble for nothing.

So you're saying I should not worry about the solubility's and just take it orally?

And I thought fentanyl was not absorbed well orally hence the actiq pops, or is that just for instant breakthrough pain? I mean they don't make any fentanyl oral preparations afaik

PLEASE HELP ME!! SWIM has a couple 1200mcg fentanyl lollipops and while they are great, they don't last long. SWIM was wondering if anyone could please help find any info as to "pluggin" these. Not the whole thing at once, but say, break a piece off and stick it up there. These won't last long so any timely response would be GREATLY appreciated. Does anyone have advice about maybe breaking a piece off and administering it anally? I've read a lot of good things with people doing this will the jell from the patches but I can't find anything about the pops. Time is of the essence, please any timely advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Buccally would work just fine..... and safer.

The only other way would be to dissolve them in water with a little vinegar and then plug them with an oral syringe, slowly. Fentanyl itself has an ultra-short half-life, and isn't too recreational.
