Steady voice, ‘led back from hell,’
Smart enough to ‘spot his tell?’

Eyes of dark midnight slate,
Visage stained in war paint.

Please love stay by my side,
Don’t shy away or run and hide.

Stray satellites drawn into the sun,
Let love in and two worlds become one.
