i can relate to this piece very much so...it took me close to 23 years before i learned to love myself. this is what i learned...don't be afraid to be silly...in fact even better be a complete lunatic. as long as you are enjoying yourself the strange looks will turn to smiles. make the first move...take a chance. not many people do this. i sat around for 23 years just waiting and hoping for things to happen. my life oficially began 2 yaers ago. anything prior to that i see as the "lost years" countless missed opportunities which could have been avoided had i found myself sooner. if you get rejected move on. we all need an ego-check every so often. soon you will find that instead of feeding your ego, you are now feeding your soul. if you have truly learned to love and accept yourself flaws and all...this will radiate from you in a glowing almost tangible form. people will be drawn to your energy. you will discover newfound confidence brewing within. this confidence is a direct result of learning to love yourself...
