A tear falls

A tear falls on her face
Then a hand wipes it away
Yet another falls to take its place
She comes to realize her sorrow is to stay
Its the life she leads
from this day on
With her life in her hand, she crys and pleads
She prays to the heavens from dark to dawn
Only to realize no one is listening
she crys louder, yet no answer
she longs for the happines now missing
as feelings of loneliness grow stronger.
