A string of vivid nightmares

So my girlfriend just took ecstasy for her second time last friday which was about 4 weeks after her first time. This only thing is that on sunday she started having nightmares, like really vivid nightmares and has been having them every night this week.

Has this ever happened to any of you? Is this normal for some people?

Is there anything that she can do to help the recovery process if it is e related?

Thanks for any input because I really want to help her out, she was crying the first time on sunday.
 
I do experience powerful dreams the days after rolling. The only time they were necessarily bad however was when I had used ecstasy too many times during a short period. I'm definitely not surprised by this, maybe a longer break is needed or maybe it was a fluke.
 
I personally think that MDMA use and nightmares are related! So many people report vivid nightmares (night terrors etc) after using MDMA and other stims - the most common one being, your awake but cant move, theres somebody/thing in the room next to you, you really cant make out who/what it is but feel so scared.
 
hrm...anxiety in the sleep, or right before falling asleep.

Take vitamins to supplement the mind. Healthy, well-balanced meals are essential. Try some 5-htp (50mg?) a half and hour before sleeping. Or eat a good amount of turkey for dinner before going to sleep.
 
I get lots of long dreams and sleep paralysis for a few days following heavy MDMA use. 5-htp always seemed to make it worse which is one of the reasons I don't use it anymore. The other reason being that it didn't actually do anything.

Do you get the terrors (paralysis) after one heavy session OR are you using heavily a few weekends/ days at a time?

When I was taking 5htp on a regular basis I would dose early evening - that way the effects didnt hampen my work / sleep. Its strange that 5htp is mentioned in the natural ways to sleep but I often found it made me restless.

I found the same thing, which is why I try to dose a small amount where it will become effective right after I have drifted off to sleep. I was trying to elevate the mood of my mind as I entered into the light sleep/dream state.
