okay so here we go. im brand new here but i use this web site ALOT for info and has always come through when i need insight on things so i hope i can get some help here.

i filled a 25 day supply of vicoprofen( hydrocodone 7.5/200) and i payed by cash. but i did it at a CVS that has my insurance info. i payed by cash because my insurance sucks bad. and wouldnt cover it for a few reasons they have time lines and this and that. but not im getting a new script which is ligit and going to try to fill it by insurance. cvs i figured may not pay for it because of the amount a filled on the 4th. so im wondering did my insurance see this fill? if i go some where else and give them my insurance info will they see it? will it go through any way because its been 19 days since i filled somthing by them? how should i do this im broke. always am cant pay by cash right now or i would thats as simple as 123. this next drug is percocet 7.5/325 diff drug so should go through any way by my count. but im still curious how i can do this and where can i go where it will go through will cvs do it. sorry if i repeat my self, i have alot of pain and am not thinking well at this point. i havent had any meds since the 11th i believe.

to give u some back round info i want to state im not not a drug addict i havent gone through withdrawl at all since my last med ends. i realize i finished 120 pills in 7 days... it was an amount alot lower then i usually get. ALOT i used to be on perc 15's until i dropped to tens and my insurance switched around and my old doc doesnt take me any more. convinced my PCP to go agasint her personal rules off the office and perscripe me the vicoprofen. the amount was her choice not mine. glad she did though. i have had a total of twelve surgeries on my right knee snow boarding accident. 4 to fix the inital issue. i hurt it very bad. and hasnt held up well since. have another coming up. i have stomach issues as well. pretty sure its chrons at this point. biopsy hasnt come back yet. (this doc is the one i got to give me pain meds.) he wondered why i havent asked for them yet considering my stomach pain and other issues in my stomach. i got hurt when i was 14 and im 19 now. ive lost years of my child hood to these issues. but my age makes pain meds an issue to begin with. chronic pain in a kid my age is given "DRUG SEEKER" status imediatly.

so this is me and this is my issue and my problem right now. please help me!

also to state im in newjersey might change some rules and help with an answer for me. TY

one more thing if this is in the wrong place please let me know

Most states including NJ have prescription monitoring programs where you will be flagged and your script will be confiscated and doctor(s) notified.

this is a really touchy subject but odds are you will get away with it unless you are blatantly abusing scripts. you could get away with your situation just by saying that the ibuprofen in the vicoprofen was giving you problems and you wanted to try something else. this is IF the pharmacy even draws a red flag...which is unlikely considering its only 1 script. you do run the risk of the pharmacy seeing its from two different doctors and they contact each doctor...but if you are cordial with them and not an asshole you shouldnt have a problem and if they question anything just say that the ibuprofen was giving you headaches and you wanted to switch to something else which your original doctor didnt agree to so you sought a second opinion and your new doctor gave you the percocet....if you went to CVS for the vicoprofen then use a mom and pop pharmacy for the second script.

i dont know 120 pills in a week seems kinds fiendish to me..i hgave a hardtime believeng you dont go threw some form of WD if you eat so many pills..i hope your doing a CWE with them too if your eating that many

if you cant afford the pills your gettin, try askin your doctor if ther is any generic forms avalable or if he can switch you to a similer drug that doesnt cost so much..and if those dont work help you can alwasy look online

Yea its called red flagging, it can happen when trying to get multiple scripts of same meds with cash n insurence or if u get the same medication but multiple mg amounts for the same month. Like no doctor is going to give me 30 30mg adderall, 90 20mg adderall, n 60 10mg adderall in a month

Yes, I would suggest the exact same. A Mom and Pop. But it does seem a bit sketcy that you got a script and then another for only a slighty different drug (ie Ibuprofen vs Acetominophen) from someone else I assume since you seem more worried about not getting the pills. I am not acusing anything, but I'd watch what excuse you use, because if they don't buy it and one or both script writers are asked any deny the ibuprofen headache thing, you'll probably lose your script for the Percos too, and then you'll be stuck in horrid pain and suffering. Have you tried being outright honest with both Physicians?

In any case, Crohns blows bigtime... It's the cause of almost all my pain as well so I definantly sympathize and wish you large luck and pain free days ahead!o
